Mingmei is a multimedia reporter covering US-China relations and global affairs through video, writing and digital storytelling.

She is currently based in New York, where she covers cultural exchange, technology and business between China and the United States. She has also covered the United Nations and international affairs, reporting on global issues and diplomacy.

Before joining her current role, Mingmei worked as an on-the-ground reporter for the New York Post, covering stories across New York City.

She earned a master’s degree in Journalism and International Relations from New York University. She completed her undergraduate studies in journalism at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she contributed to The Independent Florida Alligator, WUFT and Fresh Take Florida. She enjoys photography and visual storytelling.
